A Spray Service Provider (SSP) is a male farmer between the ages of 18 and 45 years who has been trained and certified by the Pest Control Products Board (PCPB) to provide spray application services to farmers.

The goals of this service are to increase agricultural production and ensure food safety in Kenya, both for local and international markets, by delivering the professional application of safe crop protection products driven by environmentally-sensitive integrated pest management (IPM)

Building on this, aak-GROW has conceived the SSP app. A digital platform linking farmers directly to Spray Service Providers within their localities. Farmers can now easily connect with SSPs and receive consultation and spraying services for their farms. 

We believe this platform is the right stepping stone to aiding our farmers in adopting good agricultural practices for the good of their health and the quality and quantity of their yields.
