The year 2020 will go into history as a year where the modern world was tested to the extreme due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was least expected, and it brought about major changes in the way of doing things. The agrochemical industry was not an exception, although through its resilience and its importance in food production cycle, a general growth of the industry was experienced. However, this growth was not easily achieved, as it required great commitment in maneuvering through various restrictions and other measures that were put in place by the government to combat the pandemic. I would like to thank the Secretariat for issuing Essential Services Passes to member companies that ensured near to normal operations.
