Operation Jaza Miti
Healing the environment one tree at a time. The aak-GROW secretariat together with our members and partners took to planting trees in Mau-Likia Forest for this year’s Mazingira Day.
Working together with the Likia Community Forest Association, we endeavoured to plant 10,000 trees and fully fence 5 acres of the forest; a milestone we more than exceeded. This significant occasion stands as testament to the importance of community and taking collective responsibility towards a more sustainable future.
